New police chief introduced to Roxas City employees
The new police chief of Roxas City, Supt. Salvador Dagoon, was properly introduced by Roxas City Executive Assistant ll Jericho Angel Celino to city all employees after a flag–raising ceremony Jan. 16.

Roxas City's one-stop shop makes processing of permits easier, faster
A one-stop shop set up at the lobby of Roxas City Hall has been teeming with people - mostly businessmen - since Jan. 2 trying to beat the Jan. 20 deadline for the processing or renewal of their business permits.
The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWD) has re-launched the Pan de Alan bakery project last Dec. 20, 2011. The bakery can be found at Stall No. 19 of the Paseo de Cathedral under the management of Cynthia Besana.
A total of 269 inmates – 137 from the Capiz Rehabilitation Center (CRC) and 132 from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) – received tokens from Mayor Angel Alan B. Celino during the gift-giving activity handled by the Mayor's PR Office last Jan. 4.
Roxas City gets more awards in health, legislation
On top of the prestigious Red Orchid award for its successful anti-smoking drive, the Roxas City government was further recognized by the Department of Health (DOH) as top performer in the National TB (tuberculosis) Control Program and for its outstanding implementation in Measles Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity.
Eighty–nine couples took part in the mass Church wedding to solemnize their union. The ceremony was held Dec. 5 at the Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral here as part of the Sinadya sa Halaran 2011. Roxas City officials led by Mayor Angel Alan Celino stood as sponsors.

Viterbo, representative from the offices of the city treasurer, city assessor, licensing section and Information Technology (IT) persons travel to Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on December 1, 2011 in coordination with the officials of the host city.
