The Adamson University Soaring Falcons completed a dramatic comeback against the De La Salle University Green Archers, erasing a 13-point deficit in the final five minutes of regulation before taking control in overtime for an 82–75 semifinal victory in the Roxas City Invitational Tournament 2026.
De La Salle had the advantage late in the fourth quarter, leading by 13 points with only four minutes remaining. Adamson then began its comeback, with Matty Erolon helping ignite the Falcons’ late charge.
The Soaring Falcons kept cutting into the Green Archers’ lead until Mahatir Edding delivered the biggest shot of the night.
With the clock winding down, Edding knocked down a three-pointer that tied the game and forced overtime. Regulation ended with both teams locked at 66–66.
Adamson carried that momentum into the extra period and dominated overtime, outscoring De La Salle 16–9 to complete the comeback and win, 82–75.
Precious Jonah led Adamson with 24 points and 6 rebounds, while Emmanuel Anabo added 23 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Matty Erolon, who was also named Player of the Game finished with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, while Mahatir Edding contributed 7 points and 3 rebounds.
Jacob Zion Cortez paced La Salle with 17 points, 7 assists, and 1 rebound, while Moses Kulang posted 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Manuel Antonio Luis Pablo added 10 points and 9 rebounds.
